GOOD SAUERKRAUT 
1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut, rinsed & drained
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
1 green pepper, cut in strips
1 c. chopped onion (2 med.)

Fry onion and pepper until soft in butter or dill. Add sauerkraut, tomatoes, mushrooms. Bake in casserole at 350 degrees, covered for 1 hour and for 1/2 hour, uncovered. Or put in crock pot and cook for several hours. I add Polish sausage to make it extra good.
