2 sticks butter
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. plain flour, sifted

Cream first 3 ingredients. Add vanilla and egg. Add flour (White Lily), one cup at a time and chill. Shape with fingers a piece 1 inch in diameter. Press down some. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees about 11-12 minutes.
