MEXICAN STEAK | |
1-2 lb. round steak 1 lg. onion 1 can tomato sauce Salt Pepper Cumin Tortillas (Burrito style) Oil Cube round steak. Saute onion in large frying pan or pot with a little oil. Brown the steak. Add tomato sauce, salt and pepper to taste. Original recipe calls for 1 teaspoon cumin but we like about 2 tablespoons. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Heat and butter tortillas, then roll loosely. Scoop round steak and sauce into rolled tortilla end for each bite. Yum! Use your skill and imagination with other spices, peppers, etc. |
