POTATO CRESCENTS 
2 c. mashed potatoes
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter

FILLING:

1/4 lb. walnuts, ground
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar

Blend flour and butter. Add potato and salt. Knead into a smooth dough. Roll out and fold over 5 times. Roll 1/8 inch thick and cut into 3 inch squares.

Mix filling ingredients. Place a small amount on each square. Roll to form a crescent. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool.
