FRIED OKRA PODS 
20 sm. fresh okra pods
1 c. buttermilk
3/4 c. all purpose flour
1/4 c. cornmeal
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
Dash of pepper

Wash okra, trim stems. Drain well. Place in shallow container. Pour buttermilk over okra. Set aside, mix next 5 ingredients in a separate bowl. Remove each okra pod from milk and carefully roll in cornmeal mixture. Fry in deep hot oil 3-5 minutes.
