QUICK ROLLS | |
2 1/2 c. (4 c. for double batch) flour 1 pkg. yeast 1/4 c. (1/2 c. for double batch) sugar 1 egg 1/3 c. shortening 1 c. (2 c. for double batch) hot water Dissolve yeast in water to add to mixture. Mix batter by hand just until shortening and flour are combined. Knead on doughboard (cover board heavily with flour). Top with butter. Bake at 400 degrees until browned. |
