2 c. sifted flour (plain)
1 c. butter
4 tbsp. powdered sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
2 tbsp. water
2 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Cream butter, add sugar, cream until smooth. Blend in flour. Stir in nuts, water and flavoring. Mix well. Shape in 1/2 inch balls. Bake on ungreased baking sheet. Oven 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown. While still warm, roll in confectioners sugar.
