1 c. soft butter
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
1 c. flour

Melt butter and chocolate together and cool. Mix all ingredients together by hand (not mixer). Pour into greased 9 x 12 inch pan. Bake 35 minutes. Ice while hot.

ICING:

1 sq. unsweetened chocolate
2 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. milk
2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Melt chocolate, butter and milk over low heat. Remove from heat, stir in powdered sugar and vanilla. Mix well and pour over hot brownies.
