3 c. sifted flour
2 c. sugar
5 tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. baking soda
Dash of salt
3/4 c. salad oil
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. cold water

Sift flour, sugar, cocoa, soda and salt together into 12 x 8 x 2 inch pan. With a tablespoon make 3 evenly spaced wells in the mixture. In 1, place salad oil, in another, place vinegar; in the last, place vanilla. Pour water over all. Mix well with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Frost with chocolate or white icing.
