OVEN FRIED CHICKEN | |
3 - 3 1/2 lb. cut up broiler/fryer chicken 1 tbsp butter 2/3 c bisquick 1 1/2 tsp paprika 1 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper Heat oven to 425°F. Remove skin from chicken (if desired). Melt butter in oven in a rectangular 9x13 baking dish or pan. Mix bisquick, paprika, salt and pepper. Coat chicken with mixture and place skin side down in pan (pan and butter should be hot). Bake uncovered 35 minutes, turn, bake about 15 minutes longer or until juice from chicken is no longer pink. |
