CRANBERRY SALAD MOLD WITH
ORANGE-CHEESE DRESSING
 
2 (6 oz.) pkgs. strawberry Jello
5 med. oranges, peeled and chopped
1 (16 oz.) pkg. cranberries, coarsely chopped
2 c. sugar

DRESSING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/3 c. orange juice

Early in day or day before serving: In a large bowl dissolve Jello in 3 cups boiling water. Stir in 3 cups cold water. Refrigerate. Stir mixture often until it mounds slightly when dropped from a spoon.

In another bowl mix together oranges, cranberries and sugar. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved. Stir this into thickened Jello. Pour into 12 cup mold. Refrigerate until set.

For dressing: In a small bowl, with mixer at low speed, beat cream cheese and orange juice until smooth. Serve in center of the cranberry mold.
