SWEET PICKLES 
4 c. sugar
4 c. vinegar
3 c. water
1/2 c. salt
1 tbsp. celery seed

Boil all together for 5 minutes. Put a little dill and a little onion in bottom of pint or quart jar. Slice cucumbers thin and pack jars. Pour boiling hot syrup over tightly packed cucumbers, seal and process. Makes 4 quarts or 8 pints.
