SWEET-SOUR MEATBALLS 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
3/4 c. oatmeal
1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained & chopped
1/2 tsp. onion salt
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. soy sauce
Dash liquid red pepper
1/2 c. milk
1 egg

Combine all ingredients; shape in bite size meatballs; brown.

SAUCE:

1 (8 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drain & reserve juice
1 c. brown sugar, packed
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. beef bouillon
1/2 c. vinegar
2 tsp. soy sauce
1/3 c. chopped green pepper

Mix brown sugar and cornstarch in saucepan. Add reserved pineapple juice, bouillon, vinegar and soy sauce. Boil until thick and clear. Stir in pineapple and pepper. Add sauce to meatballs. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes. Serve. Makes 4 to 5 dozen meatballs.
