SWEET HOT AND SOUR MEATBALLS 
1/2 c. refrigerated or frozen egg product, thawed
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1/2 c. onion, finely chopped
1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 lb. pork sausage
1 lb. ground beef
3/4 c. apple jelly
1/3 c. spicy brown mustard
1/3 c. apple juice
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
few dashes bottled hot pepper sauce

In a large bowl, combine egg product, bread crumbs, onion, milk, salt and pepper. Add sausage and beef; mix well. Shape into 48 meatballs. Place meatballs in a shallow baking pan.

Bake, uncovered, in a 375°F oven 30 minutes or until done. Remove from oven; drain. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, stir together jelly, mustard, juice, Worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce. Heat and stir until jelly melts and mixture bubbles. Add meatballs, stirring gently to coat. Cook 3 to 5 minutes or until sauce thickens slightly and meatballs are coated. Transfer meatballs and sauce to a serving dish. Cover tightly.
