CHOCOLATE CHERRY BARS 
1 pkg. Pillsbury Plus devils food cake mix
1 (21 oz.) can cherry fruit pie filling
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. sugar
5 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. milk
6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, fruit filling, almond extract and eggs until well mixed. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Melt butter in small saucepan. Add sugar and heat to almost boiling. Add milk and boil 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until smooth. Pour icing over warm cake. Cool. Cut into bars. Makes 36 bars.
