KIRSTINE'S CHOCOLATE CHERRY BARS 
1 pkg. sour cream chocolate cake mix
1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs, beaten

Combine above ingredients by hand. Stir until well mixed. Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9 inch cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Frost with following frosting.

FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. milk
1 c. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips

In small saucepan, combine sugar, butter and milk. Boil, stirring constantly for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until smooth. Pour over bars. Yields about 3 dozen.
