HAWAIIAN COOKIES 
2/3 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1/2 c. coconut

Cream together Crisco and sugar. Add slightly beaten egg and vanilla. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Add crushed pineapple, nuts, and coconut. Drop on cookie sheet with teaspoon. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes.
