PANCAKES 
2 c. flour
5 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1/3 c. melted Crisco
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
2 c. milk

Sift flour and dry ingredients 4 times. Beat eggs in a 3 quart mixing bowl. Add milk and mix. Stir in melted shortening then add flour. Mix all at once. Beat until perfectly smooth. Cook on medium hot surface, 300 to 325 degrees, use 1/4 cup per pancake. Makes 25.
