GARLIC BROILED CHICKEN 
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. minced fresh garlic
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1/4 c. fresh chopped parsley
2 1/2 to 3 1/2 whole frying chicken, cut 1/2
Cooked rice

Stir together soy sauce, butter, pepper and garlic. Heat broiler. Place chicken on greased broiler pan. Broil chicken 6 to 8 inches from heat, turning every 10 minutes, and brushing with mixture during last 10 minutes for 30 to 35 minutes or until fork tender.

Just before serving, brush with butter mixture and sprinkle with parsley. Serve with cooked rice.
