SAUSAGE CAKE 
1 lb. raisins
1 lb. sausage
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. sugar
2 c. boiling water
3 c. flour
1 egg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cloves
1 c. nuts
1/2 to 1 c. mixed fruits

Lightly grease tube or bundt pan. Separate sausage into small pieces, combine with raisins and boiling water. Cook for 4 minutes. Add soda and cool. Meanwhile mix remaining ingredients. Add the sausage mixture and blend well. Bake 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 300 degrees.
