RON'S FAVORITE 
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs, separated
1 lg. can milk
1/2 stick butter
Salt
Vanilla

Mix flour, sugar and cocoa; add some milk and mix well. Add egg yolks and cook over medium heat until mixed well. Gradually add balance of milk, stirring constantly until thickened (takes about 5 minutes). Remove from heat and add butter, dash of salt and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Pour into baked 9 inch pie shell and top with meringue. Bake at 275 to 300 degrees until brown. (Be sure meringue seals the pie or it may get "weepy".)
