BEER BREAD 
3 c. self-rising flour
3 tbsp. sugar
12 to 14 oz. beer

Mix ingredients, flour, sugar and beer. It makes a lumpy batter. Put batter into a greased loaf pan. Bake 40 minutes at 375 degrees. Pour some melted butter on top of loaf and bake for 10 minutes more. Pour a little more butter over top of loaf and bake for another 10 minutes.
