3 c. self-rising flour 3 tbsp. sugar 12 oz. can beer, at room temperature butter Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a 9 x 5 x 3 pan with vegetable spray. Measure the flour, sugar and beer into a mixing bowl. Mix until dough cleans side of bowl. Turn dough into pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. Remove from pan and coat top of loaf with butter. Yield: 1 loaf (12 slices) 1 slice is 2 starch-bread exchanges. 134 calories. |
