GERMAN SWEET CHOCOLATE PIE 
1 (4 oz.) pkg. German sweet chocolate
1/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can evaporated milk
3 tbsp. cornstarch
Pinch of salt
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can flaked coconut
1 c. chopped nuts
2 pie shells, unbaked

Melt chocolate with butter over low heat. Remove and blend in milk. Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt and beat in eggs and vanilla. Blend into chocolate mixture. Pour into shells. Mix coconut and nuts and sprinkle over. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Cool 4 hours before serving.
