SPICEY PEACH NUT BREAD 
2 c. all purpose flour
2/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
2 tbsp. butter, softened
2 eggs
16 oz. can (2 c.) spiced peaches, drained (reserve syrup)
1/2 c. reserved peach syrup
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. raisins, if desired

GLAZE:

1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. reserved peach syrup

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease (not oil) and flour 9 x 5 or 8 x 4 inch loaf pan. In large bowl, blend all ingredients except walnuts, raisins and glaze. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Stir in walnuts and raisins. Pour in prepared pan. Bake 60 to 70 minutes until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Remove from pan. Cool completely. Combine glaze ingredients. Drizzle over bread. Store loosely wrapped. Makes 1 loaf.
