MOM'S FAMOUS CHICKEN STEW | |
1 fowl, cover with boiling water 2 tbsp. herbs (leeks) 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper 1 lg. onion DUMPLINGS (Poutines) : Put 1/2 cup of chicken stock in the bowl, cooled. Add 2 cups flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt. Mix into a ball, flatten dough on the floured board and then you can cut in one inch squares and drop in your boiling stew. Stir a little. Very delicious! |
