PEANUT OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 c. soft butter
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 c. oatmeal, uncooked
1/2 lb. salted Spanish peanuts (2 c.)

Cream butter, add sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Beat until light. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Drop by teaspoons on greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Makes 12 dozen.
