SUGARED NUTS 
1/2 c. sour cream
1-1/2 c. sugar
1-1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. walnuts or pecans

Combine sour cream, sugar and vanilla in a 2 quart pan. Cook to soft ball stage (238 degrees), stirring constantly. Add nuts to coat. Turn onto a baking sheet, separate with a fork. Yields 1-1/2 pounds.
