RED VELVET CAKE 
1 box butter cake mix
1 tsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. buttermilk
1 bottle red food coloring
1 stick butter
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. vinegar

Mix cake mix with cocoa. Add vanilla, buttermilk, food coloring, butter and milk. Blend until moistened. Add soda, vinegar, beat 4 minutes at medium speed. Bake at 375 degrees in 2 or 3 cake pans depending on number of layers preferred. Grease and flour pans.

ICING:

8 oz. cream cheese
1 stick butter
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
