RED VELVET CAKE 
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking cocoa
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. buttered flavor oil or regular oil
1 tsp. vinegar
1 oz. red food coloring
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift all dry ingredients together. Add other ingredients in order and mix thoroughly. Bake in greased and floured pans at 350 degrees (round) for 25 minutes or in bundt pan for approximately 50 minutes. Let cool before frosting.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 box confectioners sugar

Let butter and cream cheese soften. Cream well. Add sugar and cream well.
