SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
4 tbsp. oil
1 c. onion, chopped
2 lbs. ground beef
2/3 c. green pepper, chopped
2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes
2 (16 oz.) cans tomato paste
1 bay leaf
4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. sugar

Brown first 5 ingredients, add all others. Cook for 1 1/2 hours. Remove bay leaf. Add extra salt if necessary. Serve over hot spaghetti noodles. Garnish with Parmesan cheese if desired.
