BAKED VENISON STEAK 
1 1/2 lb. venison steak
1 onion, chopped
1 pkg. instant onion soup
8 oz. sour cream
2 tbsp. flour
oil
salt and pepper
garlic powder

Cut meat in thin strips. Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Roll in flour. Brown in oil. Sauté onions. Place meat and onions in small roaster. Mix onion soup with 1 1/2 cups water. Pour over meat.

Bake at 325°F for 45 to 60 minutes. Mix 2 tablespoons flour with sour cream and small amount of water. Add to meat and simmer, but do not boil for 10 minutes. Serve over noodles or rice.

This can be cooked in crock-pot. Beef steaks can be used.
