Anyone ever see apple jello? I heard you can use knox gellatin replacing apple juice for water. A friend thought of caramel apple jello shots. I believe pinnacle makes the caramel vodka.

We use the 20 oz. syringe, works GREAT for Jell-O Shots and they wash up great in the dishwasher, some of those plastic cups can get a little pricey.

This summer, we carved out the top of the strawberry, so it was like a jello shot cup. We used strawberry jello and 99 Bananas too. In addition, we diced a banana and put one piece inside the strawberry and we poured the mixture into the strawberry.. You just have to be careful on how much you carve out of the strawberry, or it will leak.

I've found Jolly Rancher Apple Flavored Jello (Walmart) goes great with either Buttershots or Smirnoff's Kissed Caramel flavored vodka for caramel apple jello shots. Definitely one of the all-time favorites. Also, for our Halloween parties, instead of boiling tap water, I dissolve the jello in (heated)tonic water as it contains quinine and glows under a blacklight... and looks awesome! Only works with certain colors though.

My most favorite Jello Shot is Grape Jello with Apple Pucker! Tastes just like a Jolly Rancher. The other two that I found were the most common at my family reunion were the Pineapple Jello with Malibu, and the Orange Jello with Peach Schnapps.

I used this and I made 343 with 2 oz. cups and lots and lots of jello and 3 handles of vodka. I'm ready for my party tonight that's for sure!

Apple Pie Moonshine with whipped cream was a hit and Peach Champagne with raspberries was another hit for the girls that like a sweeter shot. Making cranberry for Thanksgiving!

CROWD FAVORITES!
STRONG (Effective, but not that potent) & FLAVORFUL (Delicious to down):

Skip down to just view ingredients. I made several batches- tasters LOVED them. They were enjoyed by all mature ages (over 21). Using clear 2oz disposable ramekin cups with lids (Walmart, $3 for 50), *Fruit Punch-flavored KoolAid bottle drinks (Walgreens, $1 for 6), and buying 3 bottles of flavored *Smirnoff vodka (Whipped Cream, Vanilla, Cherry), 1 bottle of *Peach Schnapps, 1 bottle of *Triple Sec.

With a 3oz jello box, completely dissolved after 1 cup of boiling water, I replaced the usual 1 cup of cold water that follows with a combined 1/2 cup of chilled vodka and 1/2 cup of chilled liqueur. This was imperative in keeping the flavor up but add a kick.

***TIP: Spray the cups with cooking oil so the shots slide out easily with a toothpick.

Here are the beloved combinations:

Batch 1: Orange Jello (3oz box) Whipped Cream flavored Smirnoff (1/2 cup) Triple Sec (1/2 cup)

2: Same as 1, but Watermelon jello

3: Orange Jello (3oz) Whipped Cream Smirnoff (1/2 cup) Peach Schnapps (1/2 cup)

4: Raspberry Jello (3oz) Vanilla Smirnoff (1/2 cup) Peach Schnapps (1/2 cup)

5: Cherry Jello (3oz) Cherry Smirnoff (1/2 cup) Fruit-Punch Koolaid drink (1/2 cup) (^ Lightest alcoholic combo)

6. Cranberry Jello (*6 oz box) Vanilla Smirnoff (1 cup) Triple Sec (1 cup) Fruit Punch Koolaid (1 cup)

7: Cranberry Jello (6 oz box) Cherry Smirnoff (1 cup) Peach Schnapps (1 cup) Fruit Punch Koolaid drink (2 oz)

8. Orange Jello (6 oz box) Whipped Cream Vodka (1 cup) Triple Sec (1/2 cup) Peach Schnapps (1/2 cup) Fruit Punch Koolaid drink (2 oz)

I hope someone uses these recipes because, seriously, there were only praises given about them. I had needed variety because I made about 200 jello shots, but wanted to keep my choice of liquor consistent/interchangeable. :)

I use 7up instead of water, heat the 7 up til hot-add whatever flavored jello, mix well-pour in cups and set in freezer til cool then add your vodca, rum, tequila or whatever booze as the the liquor will lose its alcohol content if too hot. My favorites are orange jello & tequila-pineapple vodka & lime jello, strawberry jello & peppermint schnapps--its endless...

 Cedez (New Jersey) says:
I use peach and berry flavored vodka for my jello shots & I put 2 cups of vodka (1 cup of each vodka) for each box. I use 3 boxes of different flavors so there is something for everyone. I use very minimum water maybe only 3/4c just enough to dissolve the jello completely. I use the 2oz cups & I usually get more the 100 jello shots. I freeze them if I make them the same day of the party or if I make them days ahead I will just put them in my fridge. Don't use 2 cups of vodka for each box if you don't think your guests will be able to handle them.. Hope y'all enjoy :)

I am fond of the fuzzy naval version. 6 oz box of Orange jello, 2 1/2 cups boiling water, 1/2 cup vodka and 1 cup peach schnapps. Very tasty. Lime jello and tequila if you like margaritas.

I like to use Peach Schnapps & Orange Jello, like a Fuzzy Naval Drink. Also, I like Lime Vodka with Lemon Jello for a very Lime Green Shot! Worst kind I ever made was Gin with Cherry Jello...Yuck!
