Wash apples, peel if desired, core and slice. To each quart of apples add: 1/4 tsp. ascorbic acid Cook until tender, then puree. Add 1/4 cup sugar per quart of hot puree. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Cook and pour into containers. Freeze. | |
