FRENCH BISCUITS 
4 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
3 tbsp. lard
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
Milk

Sift dry ingredients. Make hole in center. Add lard. Break eggs into that without beating. Beat with spoon until mixed. Use enough sweet milk to make dough that is easy to handle. Cut out biscuits, dip in melted butter, fold as for pocketbook rolls. Bake at 375 degrees until brown.
