POPPY SEED BREAD 
3 c. flour
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. milk
3 tbsp. poppy seeds
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/8 c. salad oil
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring

Beat 2 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Makes 2 loaves.

GLAZE:

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. orange juice
2 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring

Pour on bread while still warm.
