FRUIT CAKE 
1 lb. Brazil nuts
1 lb. walnuts
1 lb. dates
8 oz. candied red cherries
8 oz. candied green cherries
8 oz. candied pineapple
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Beat eggs slightly, add sugar then other ingredients. Mix well - batter will be very thick. Pour into tins lined with greased brown paper. Bake with pan of water in oven. Bake at 250 for 2 hours. Makes 4 small cakes.
