CHOCOLATE WALNUT CHERRY MARBLE
CAKE
 
3 3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
2 1/4 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/8 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. (1 pt.) sour cream
3/8 c. maraschino cherry juice
3/8 c. water
1 tsp. almond extract
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
3/4 c. cut maraschino cherries
3 squares melted unsweetened chocolate

Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Cream well, butter, sugar and eggs. Add sour cream, cherry juice and water. Mix well. Add almond extract. Mix, alternating dry ingredients with creamed ingredients. Divide dough into 2 bowls.

In one bowl, add chopped nuts and maraschino cherries. To the other bowl, add the melted chocolate. Grease and flour bundt pan. Put one layer of cherry nut mixture, next layer of chocolate mixture. Continue until all the dough is in bundt pan.

Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for approximately 1 1/2 hour. Cool pan slightly and invert until cake is completely cooled.
