2/3 c. brown sugar 1 stick butter, melted 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 sm. pkg. butterscotch pudding 1 loaf frozen bread 1 c. pecans Prepare bread by cutting the loaf in half lengthwise. Cut each half into 6 pieces. Place pecans (or other nuts of your choice) completely covering the bottom of a greased square baking dish. Pour 1/2 half package of butterscotch pudding over the nuts. Arrange bread loosely in the pan on top of the nuts and pudding. Sprinkle the rest of the pudding over the bread. Mix melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon and drizzle over ingredients in pan. Let stand in a warm place overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes. Invert pan onto plate and remove. Serves 12. |
