GINGER LACE COOKIES 
1/2 c. molasses
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Bring molasses to a boil, add butter and let cool. Cream thoroughly, add sugar and spices and mix well. Add flour. Drop by small spoonfuls on buttered cookie sheet. Place far apart as they spread. Bake 12 minutes at 375 degrees. Remove from oven and shape into cones while warm.
