OATMEAL LACE COOKIES | |
2 c. oats 1 tbsp. flour 2 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 2 sticks melted butter 2 eggs, beaten 1 tsp. vanilla Put first 4 ingredients in a large bowl; mix well. Melt butter (very hot) and pour over mixture. Stir until sugar has melted. Add vanilla and eggs. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cover cookie sheets with aluminum foil. Drop 1/2 level teaspoon of the mixture on foil 2 inches apart. Bake 10-12 minutes or until cookies turn color of caramel. When cookies are completely cooled, foil will pull off. Store in tight containers. |
