PEASANT FETTUCINI | |
2 slices bacon 1 stick butter 4 - 6 garlic cloves 1 c. cream 2 c. half and half 1 c. Parmesan cheese 1 c. frozen peas, cooked 1 1/2 c. ham, cubed and heated 1 lb. fettucini or linguinni past Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. In large skillet, fry bacon crisp and crumble it into small pieces. Add 1 stick butter and minced garlic. Saute until golden brown. Add cream, half and half and cheese. Heat until almost to a boil. Add ham and peas and heat thoroughly. Mix with pasta and serve. Serves 4 to 6. |
