HUNGARIAN PEASANT DISH | |
1 1/2 - 2 lbs. smoked sausage, sliced 1/4" diagonally 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 tbsp. oil 1 tbsp. paprika 6-8 lg. potatoes, cut in eighths Salt & pepper Saute onion in oil, sprinkled with 1 teaspoon paprika until glazed. Add sausage and 1 teaspoon paprika, cover and cook 10 minutes. Add potatoes, 1 teaspoon paprika, salt and pepper and cover 20 minutes more or until potatoes are done. I always use much more paprika! |
