ROAST WILD GOOSE OR DUCK | |
Thoroughly wash dressed bird in salt water. Pat dry and stuff with quartered unpeeled apples. Put in roasting pan with 4 or 5 each pepper corns and whole allspice, also 2 or 3 bay leaves. Put extra quartered apples around the pan. Makes the gravy flavor real good. Serve with mashed potatoes. Roast about 2 hours at 350 degrees. |
