GRANDMA'S GERMAN COFFEE CAKE 
Part I:

2 sticks melted butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
2 1/2 cups flour
Pinch of salt

Blend ingredients - reserve 1 cup of mixture for topping.

Part II:

1 egg
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup sour milk or 1 cup of sweet milk with two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar - let sit until clabbered

Blend part 2 ingredients and add to part I. Pour into greased and floured 10x13 cake pan. Sprinkle reserved cup of Part I over batter. Add chopped pecans.

Bake at 350°F for 40 - 45 minutes.
