HOT GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
9 med. potatoes
6 slices bacon
3/4 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery seed
Dash pepper
3/4 c. water
1/3 c. vinegar
2 pkg. bratwurst
1 jar sauerkraut

Slice potatoes round. In saucepan, cover potatoes with water. Cook 03 minutes until tender. Drain; set aside.

In large skillet fry bacon until crisp. Remove and drain. Cook and stir onions in bacon drippings until brown. Blend in flour, sugar, salt, celery seed and pepper. Cook over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in water and vinegar. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Crumble bacon into mixture. Heat through. Bake bratwurst and sauerkraut 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve with potato salad, baked beans and pumpernickel bread.
