3 c. sugar 1/2 c. white Karo syrup 3/4 c. water 2 egg whites 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 c. pecans, chopped Bring to a rolling boil in a deep pan the sugar, syrup and water. Cover and time for 3 minutes. Uncover and cook to soft ball. Pour in 2 stiff beaten egg whites. Beat until almost cool. Add nuts, salt and vanilla. Drop on wax paper. |
