1 med. cabbage, cut up
4 to 6 potatoes, peeled and cut up (like for stewing)
1 pkg. Hillshire sausage, cut sm.
Enough water to cover potatoes and most of cabbage
Salt to taste

Cook all together until potatoes are done.
