HOLIDAY POPPY SEED NUT CAKE | |
4 eggs, well beaten 2 c. sugar 1 1/4 c. oil 1 tsp. vanilla 3 c. flour, sifted 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 lg. can Milnot condensed milk 1 c. chopped nuts 1 can Solo poppy seed Sift flour with baking soda. Mix eggs, sugar, oil and vanilla. Add the flour mix and Milnot condensed milk in this order, 1/3 of flour mix and 1/2 can Milnot, 1/3 flour mix and 1/2 can Milnot, then last of 1/3 flour mix. (Beating well after each addition.) Add poppy seed and chopped nuts. Bake in greased and floured angel food cake pan at 350 for 1 1/4 hours (sometimes longer). |
