ROMAN STRIPE 
6 or 7 pkgs. assorted colors Jello gelatin mix
2 c. sour cream

Do one layer at a time in the following manner: Dilute one package of Jello with 1 cup boiling water. Take 1/3 cup Jello and set aside. Add 2 tablespoons of cold water to the 2/3 cup Jello left and pour into 9"x13" pan. If glass dish is used, you can take directly to the table. Refrigerate 20 minutes.

While this is cooling, add 1/3 cup of sour cream to the Jello you set aside. When first layer is firm, carefully pour second portion on top of first layer and refrigerate 20 minutes. Continue procedure with each color of Jello. Serves 16.
